ABC School: Field Trip

For school we went on a field trip to our local pumpkin patch. The kids loved it! Crew was very insistent in wanting a triangle pumpkin. To my amazement we found quite the triangular shaped pumpkin!!

Crew and Sawyer were very excited for the ride on the kid train, but those smiles soon turned into tears; Crew (he got grass in his eye) and then Sawyer freaked out because his brothers was throwing a fit!

Lots of exploring, a kid straw maze, checking out the tee-pee, and looking at the other animals filled up the rest of our trip.

Good Time!

Abe and I were busy sanding away on the latest project while the boys were having fun playing. At the end of the evening I gathered up the boys so I could take them inside and make dinner. Sawyer had a grand time with the dirt to prove it!

ABC School: Letter D

We had school at our house and we learned all about the letter D. We made D's with dots, played the drum, had a dance party, and had donuts for a snack. Diamond was our shape and we had diamond shaped crackers and cheese.

It was a success and Sawyer enjoyed joining in as well!

Family Pictures

During Conference I decided we needed an updated family picture. It was very spur of the moment and I rummaged through our closets to find coordinating outfits. The weather is beautiful, the leaves are just changing, and I couldn't believe it's been over a year since our last family picture! I grabbed my handy remote, tripod, and headed out to basically the only place I know of that has a decent amount of trees. I thought for sure that I wouldn't have too many options with how crazy my boys were after watching conference, but I love so many of these pictures! Now if I could figure out how to make my hand not look like it's holding a remote!

Track Suit

We got this track suit as a hand me down and both of my boys have  loved wearing it! 

Las Vegas Visit

After our Utah visit we traveled down to Las Vegas to visit Darci and Frank's family. We had a great time playing outside in their pool, riding bikes, going out to eat, and visiting. My Dad was there for a business meeting and my Mom had tagged along so we were able to see them. Tuesday morning we picked up my Mom from her hotel and she relaxed with us all day. I love that we were able to see so many family members in a week!
