Thanksgiving Fun

We attempted to go see a movie earlier in the day, but they were sold out until later. We bought the evening tickets. Dad and I had a plan and we went in and we were able to get a whole row for our family to enjoy Moana. It was a fun experience.

Skeet Shooting

What is Thanksgiving without a little bit of gun usage to make sure we are all sharpened up on our skills. I have shot several different types of guns, but actually have never shot a shot gun until today. Abe gave me the easy and small one to shoot.

We have had our boys around guns before and have gone over gun safety continuously in our home. We have not skirted what could happen to someone or themselves if proper gun safety isn't followed. Until this day, they had never been allowed to touch a gun.

Again, we drilled in what to do if they see a gun, went over the parts of a gun, and what could happen to anything or one that the end of the gun is pointed at. I am pretty sure I saw Abe's pride in his boys grow as they got a handle on how to shoot.

Happy Thanksgiving

It was so great to be together with all of my family. It had been 11 months since I had been together with everyone in Idaho.

Benson was a little social bug and smiles at everyone. Keagon is a little more particular on whom she'll share her smiles with.

Thanksgiving was filled with a turkey race, good food, pies, more pies, naps, the annual wii bowling tournament, and having a good time.  The Turkey race was hilarious because Jake paced right behind me the whole time, and right as we were going over the finish line he surprised me and grabbed my hand to hold our hands high as we went through. The host pulled us over and gave us a gift card to a themed hotel for 2. I was laughing so hard I almost forgot to say thank you. Jake definitely earned that one and he was able to take it home.
