Owen's Birthday Party

 Owen is turning 9 tomorrow, and had a big party to celebrate. There was an ice cone station, popcorn, donuts, and a bouncy house. My kids were in and out of the bouncy house for 4 hours, and had a blast!
Sawyer had no fear and went straight to the ladder and down the slide. Crew went to the jumping side and warmed up to the idea of going up the ladder and down the slide. Even when he got to the top we had to coax him down. After he finally went down, he was rather thrilled with himself.

Crew picked out a green dump truck shirt and two pictures to print out and put in a frame for Owen.

Drew and Becky's kids were in town and were invited to join the party.

 After all the little kids were out, the big boys tested out their flipping skills in the bounce house.

Farm Chores

Crew loves to help with the farm chores. Today he took out the slop and fed the cows. I made sure to run out ahead of him and snap some pictures.

 This kids has a lot of spunk and a lot of personality that a lot of people don't get to know until he is well acquainted with them. I love the joy he gets from working hard. Here is is sprinting back after one chore was done.

Next up: feeding the cows. Abe helped haul out the bales and cut the twine. Crew sang and spoke to the cows as he fed them. Crew is very trusting of the cows and will get right in their faces. The cows must have some trust on their end as well, because they will eat the hay right off the pitch fork from him.

Sand Mountain

Another quick trip out to Sand Mountain. It was a little cold, but a lot of fun!
