Girls Day: 5k

I found a last minute steal of a deal, and decided to wrangle some girls together for a color run. We went a little crazy and felt like we were in college again. Then we got tired and went to lunch! In all seriousness it was so much fun to get out and let loose. Running was really quite optional in this. We were there to have a blast and do a little bonding. 

I drove Shauna, Marie, and Lisa up with me and we crossed paths with some others when we got up there. 

I was a little worried about my hair staining, so I put coconut oil in it after my shower, and it did the trick! I also wrapped my head in a bandanna and later a shirt that I won and didn't want to carry. 

I would say Lisa got it the worst in her head/face. She looked like a smurf! We didn't get super colored until after we ran and we were partying, dancing, and acting like crazy people trying to get free apparel. Luckily we all brought spare clothes, towels, and wipes so we could make ourselves halfway presentable for lunch.

 

Dentist

The boys got their teeth cleaned. Well, I took Sawyer once and he surprised me by being very nervous. There were even tears for his single x ray. He only got checked because we were worried about his molars. We found out that he is missing enamel on his back teeth.

I then went back again with Crew and Sawyer had to come as well. After watching Crew rock the dentist chair, Sawyer was ready for attempt number 2. They were so accommodating and checked out well! 

Crew wanted to check out his clean teeth on the way home and snapped a picture of himself and Sawyer.

Workin' Boys

Abe is working on the little four wheeler. His two biggest helpers also joined in. Crew pays a lot of attention, ask questions, and helps when asked. Sawyer plays with the tools, drops the tools, and loses part. It's a good team.

 Sawyer quickly lost interest and went to jump on the trampoline.

Crew wanted in on the picture taking. I was telling Sawyer how handsome he looked and Crew came over and requested a picture in his work attire.

Friends

The Sones came to visit because Micah is leaving on his mission and Richard had work things to attend to. We were so excited that the whole family came! My boys were so excited to have Owen over every day they were here. Owen seemed rather thrilled as well. Today Audra went to a hair appointment and Owen came to hang out with us. They spend about 30 minutes watching Owen play a game, and then they were busy, busy, busy outside playing.
