Arave Family Reunion: Day 1

By the time we made it to our campsite for the reunion, I was already tired! But seeing all of the family reinvigorated me for the rest of the evening.  They stared off right with some down hill water sliding and greeting family we haven't seen in years.

After families ate dinner and my children (Crew) started a loud (and sometimes dangerous) downhill bike riding session, we moved into a night of talents, songs, and story telling. It was so wonderful to look around and know we were all there due to my Grandma Alvin and Grandma Ida. Such a legacy! (Even with many missing)

Parker, Crew, Liam

Crew had a really hard crash and roll, cried a minute, and was back on the bike.

Brookie also had a crash and unfortunately she took all of hers to her face. She was pretty brave!

Abi

It's so fun to watch all of my cousins with their families and raising their own children. It seems surreal and like we should still be out playing in the trees, playing cops and robbers, and all of the other fun adventures we had.

Pre-Reunion Adventures

We stayed a night with the Sones so our boys could play and we could catch up. It was fun to see each other and enjoy a few laughs together before we headed to Camille's.

The boys loved on baby Norah! It was so adorable to watch them take care of her together.

Camille and I went a few hikes up the canyon while I was there and she put me to work as needed. But she really just let us play for the most part!
