Happy Birthday Sawyer: 3

We started off the morning with yummy pancakes and singing happy birthday! There was a lot of playing, decorating, and later we went to pizza with Grandma and Grandpa Schank. This was followed up by a party with cake and presents at our house.

We gave Sawyer a teeter totter for his birthday, and they quickly figured out that it not only goes up and down, but fully around as well. Their weight is very close so the balance is fun!

Sawyer received handmade peg dolls from Grandma Trent, and they are adorable! Grandma and Grandpa Schank gave Sawyer a  set of tools, tool belt, and roller skates. Crew was very into helping Sawyer with everything!

Sawyer's Party

To show Sawyer how excited we are for him to turn three, we decided to throw a friend party. When I asked what kinds of party he wanted, he answered, "A RED PARTY!!!" Done! Red candy, red balloons, red food, games, and friends.
I ran to the church early and Abe brought the kids when the party was ready! I would have dressed up the boys a bit, but Abe let them wear whatever they wanted. At least Sawyer wore red!
After everyone had their fair share of sugar we headed to the gym for games; Red light/Green light, duck duck goose, and parachute games. I was going to do a relay, but the time zoomed by.
Next up we had cake and presents. Everyone spoiled Sawyer and Sawyer was tickled pink with all of the gifts. We put a big pile in front of him and he went crazy with Crew telling him to quickly open up the next present.
It was so much fun and I am glad Sawyer felt the love of so many friends. Luckily, only one person threw up from all of the sugar....and they were home!

Bike Ride

As we were riding past this pipe, we decided to see if Sawyer's bike fit through it. After putting to rest the fear of a spider being in there, Sawyer and then Crew went through.

Strong Boys at Work

We started the morning off right with some breakfast, flexing, and then off to work. Cleaning the shop, riding bikes, breaking up concrete, moving concrete, jumping, and making styrofoam messes!
