We spent four hours outside playing, piling, licking, shoveling, and loving the snow that Idaho has! My boys were completely smitten with their first real snow experience.

Christmas Eve
My Mom planned a fun evening with the Nativity story, songs, and bingo. I grew up playing bingo during Christmas parties at my Grandma's. It's good to see the tradition carried on!
It was adorable to watch Alaura sing the chorus to "Angels We Have Heard On High." She sings with full gusto and in was heart warming!
Liam had some reindeer food that he tossed in the snow, we placed out cookies and carrots, and made sure to dog pile Anne before calling it a night.

Bits of December Randomness
Sawyer is pretty good at making his own peanut butter sandwich. He was thrilled to have this sandwich with jam on the inside and outside and he had to immediately show me.
For ABC school we got together at Heather's and made some crafts and some cookies. Sawyer enjoyed it.
I had to restrain myself from laughing out loud when Crew showed me what he was working on in church. "I love to work with my Dad even if he is naughty! the end" "Name: Crew!" There are so many things that I love about this. At school he marks all of his papers with "Crew!" He wants to make sure you say his name with enthusiasm!
Movie Night by the tree
Lots of homemade toffee for gifts.

Christmas Celebrations
Today was the last day of school and I was able to go help with a Christmas craft. It was a lot of fun and a little exhausting. After school we quickly changed the boys into warm and comfy clothes and headed out for our surprise destination.
It was thrilling to pull up to the train station for the Polar Express train. So much magic! We had golden tickets, hot chocolate, cookies, listened to the polar express story, saw Santa, and received our own bell. It was a late and wonderful night. Great memories.

Santa
Tonight at the ward party the boys sang and also sat on Santa's lap. This is probably the best year yet for their interaction with Santa. They both wanted to go and told him what they wanted.
