Jake and April's family made it to visit us...after only a few years of begging. We had a lot of fun today feeding the cows, exploring, and going to sand mountain for a climb and a hot dog roast.
While feeding the cows Crew impressed everyone with his pocketknife, muscles, and safety skills. Soon he had everyone that wanted to taking a turn to feed the cows. Benson seemed to like the cows the most and would get right in their faces for a big, loud, "Mooo!" The girls terrified screams in reaction to our kittens were must less shrill than yesterday's and they only climbed up on the chairs to avoid the fierce fur-balls.
At Sand Mountain the boys climbed to the top and traversed the ridge. Abe went up and took pictures since I can hardly move, and we didn't want me to go into labor trying to climb up. I stayed back and tempted Benson with giant potato chips to keep him from crying.
This picture is something I do with my lips when they are chapped and I am thirsty. I guess Crew has that built in or he has seen me do it too many times.
Those boys were so thirsty and tired when they came down. Poor Sawyer was so thirsty and out of breath he was crying and not in any mood for a victory picture. Once everyone was recovered and had a hot dog we were ready to go to bed.
