Family Visit

Jake and April's family made it to visit us...after only a few years of begging. We had a lot of fun today feeding the cows, exploring, and going to sand mountain for a climb and a hot dog roast.

While feeding the cows Crew impressed everyone with his pocketknife, muscles, and safety skills.  Soon he had everyone that wanted to taking a turn to feed the cows. Benson seemed to like the cows the most and would get right in their faces for a big, loud, "Mooo!"  The girls terrified screams in reaction to our kittens were must less shrill than yesterday's and they only climbed up on the chairs to avoid the fierce fur-balls.

At Sand Mountain the boys climbed to the top and traversed the ridge. Abe went up and took pictures since I can hardly move, and we didn't want me to go into labor trying to climb up. I stayed back and tempted Benson with giant potato chips to keep him from crying.

This picture is something I do with my lips when they are chapped and I am thirsty. I guess Crew has that built in or he has seen me do it too many times.

Those boys were so thirsty and tired when they came down. Poor Sawyer was so thirsty and out of breath he was crying and not in any mood for a victory picture.  Once everyone was recovered and had a hot dog we were ready to go to bed.

iphone Randomness

Sawyer helped Grandma decorate the wrapping paper for one of the grandkids. He did a fantastic job!
I love finding little love notes on my way into bed!
Crew sure knows how to work hard and often comes in rather dirty at the end of the day!

Sawyer "trying to break his other leg" according to Abe. This is the day before he got his cast off.

Here kitty kitty...our cat had her kittens in our attic and Abe had to retrieve them 2 times. It took some stealthy spying to even figure out where our cat had given birth!

We went to a ery cold baseball game that looked like we were going to lose. We left at the bottom of the 8th inning and our team was behind 8-ish runs. We turned on the radio when we were almost home and heard the most amazing come back ever! So sad to have missed it, but we were so tired it didn't matter. The announcer made it feel like we were right there anyway.

Mother's Day breakfast made by Abe and the boys. French toast with homemade  orange syrup. So yummy!
Sawyer decided to re-organize his closet and proceeded to empty everything out...
I found this and Sawyer no where in sight. He eventually came back and finished the job.
Look, I finally finished my swaddle blankets that I bought fabric for when I was 20 weeks. I also busted out and wash my baby clothing.

Sawyer sure makes my days sweet!

Baby bump picture taken by Crew.

Baby closet is stocked and ready!
My view being worn out from laundry, mothering, pregnancy, and house duties. A little snack and then we're all heading out to the pool.
Crew really wanted this pocket watch.                  Sawyer in a snazzy new work shirt.

Snuggles with my sweet Sawyer in the morning!
Benson and I ready and about to head off to church.
Crew was asked to be "Nephi" for the introduction of the song "Nephi's Courage." He's so dang cute!
