Friends at the Lake

We were thrilled when we found out that the Chambers were going to be in town. We set up a day at the lake for us all to play and hang out. We brought our jet ski, stand up, toys, good food, and good friends. It was a beautiful day and so much fun!

Father's Day

My boys love and adore their Dad! Abe is such an amazing father and I can't believe how lucky we all are to have him in our life! 

Happy Birthday: Abe

The love of my life turned 30. I am so blessed to have him in my life and we loved celebrating as a family!
The eve of Abe's birthday we went to Reno to celebrate. I set up a baby sitter and took Abe to the Reno Ace's baseball game. We had hot dogs and popcorn for dinner and enjoyed the evening to ourselves. It did get a little chilly and we weren't well prepared! We both had on shorts and no jackets. Our denim blanket did little to keep us warm after the cold wind came in. But it did bring on a round of giggles as we tried to snuggle and keep warm!
Due to Abe being really busy with work and lack of sleep, we decided to head home early before the game had ended.
The day of Abe's birthday we didn't see him much because he was hard at work before the sun was up! But I did make sure that he had a good dinner and a cake that fit his request. It was amazing! Here is the link for the delicious treat!

Quiet Time: Crew

Crew has quiet time most days and I love the days that he falls asleep. The day seems to go so much smoother when he does. I especially love the days that he tells me he's going to go snuggle in a blanket and puts himself down for quiet time. I usually do a little cleaning and make sure to take a moment for myself while both boys are sleeping. 

I snapped these pictures of Crew waking up. I love watching my kids sleep and wake up happy. Crew didn't love that I was taking his picture and I thought his reaction was funny.

Senior Pictures: Anne

 Anne asked me to take her senior pictures and I accepted. Most of the days while we were in Idaho Anne worked. We finally had a day to go out and take some pictures. It was a very windy day, but we did alright.
Anne is a fun loving and amazing sister! She likes to ham it up a lot in front of the camera and it was hard to get just a plain ol' smile. She has many musical talents and plays the piano, saxophone, oboe, flute, and ukulele. She has played the saxophone since grade school and I finally was able to hear a performance while we were there. She is amazing!

Idaho: Baby Chicks

We were all outside having a fun time lounging and watching the kids on the bikes when a visitor came by and surprised us with some baby chicks.

I was very surprised at Crew's desire to touch and hold the chicks and Sawyers reluctance to touch or have a chick near him. It was opposite to what I would have predicted.

Evening Play

The boys went outside as I finished cleaning up dinner. Pretty soon the simple act of watering the flowers resulted in getting wet, clothes coming off, and then snuggling in the hammock to warm up before heading inside for bed.
