Today was a day at sea. I got up early, Abe slept. I enjoyed a workout, looking at the ocean from deck 6, a quick shower, and then a sit down breakfast. When I went back to our room, Abe was about to go grab some breakfast at the buffet. I took a book from the library and headed for the top deck.
After Abe finished breakfast we met up and enjoyed some relaxation. I decided to try out surfing on the flowrider. It was tough. It's not like wakeboarding, it's not like snowboarding. I didn't do so well, but I was able to stay upright long enough for a picture or two. After my third time through I was done. I think it would be easier to pick up if I could try it back to back instead of waiting 15 minutes each time. Abe played it safe with his foot, and didn't try it again this year.
The rest of the day we lounged, walked around the decks, and relaxed. Dinner was a lot of fun and we laughed a lot as we shared stories and got to know each other. I really wanted to watch Unbroken on the top deck, but Abe wanted to see the production in the theater. That is what we did. It was good.
We tucked in early tonight so we can have the energy we need for tomorrow in the Grand Caymans.
