We had a beautiful drive down to Sand Diego and found our place fairly quickly. It's a cute studio that we found on Airbnb. After getting settled in we walked the 7, downhill, blocks to the beach. The boys loved it!! So did I. I love the beach and always have.
Sawyer tripped while running in the water and a wave overtook him. He was all the way under and I was able to grab him. He was sad that he was soaking wet, but then I had him lick his lips. He thought it was awesome to taste the salty ocean water and it fixed everything. Crew was loud and excited about it all!
We went over and explored the tide pools and saw some fish and see slugs.
The walk home was a bit more difficult and Sawyer had to deal with some chaffing. Luckily, between Abe and I we were able to get him home with a few less complaints on our backs.
