We started off the morning with a tour on the bus around the zoo. Crew was not a fan until he realized we weren't going to fall off. I loved our tour guide. She sang the whole thing and did a fantastic job!
Once we wandered the zoo all day, I was reminded that I don't really care for zoos. Apparently no one else in the family does either. It was quite the funny moment of realization. I guess we're good on zoos for a long time! We did enjoy the adventure of it all though.
We went and saw a show on space at the planetarium and it was pretty awesome. First, it was great to be off our feet after a long day, and second it was hilarious to look over at the boys and they asked if we were really flying through space. After the show we enjoyed the science area and explored as much as we could before they closed. We have plan to go back to San Diego in future just so we can discover the gems that this park holds!
