The boys were so excited the day we surprised them with buying a pool that they get to play in all summer. It's 15' x 3' and will be perfect for cooling off without having to pack up and go to the pool. Abe removed a section of our fence and brought in some sand and taught the boys how to level out the dirt. (Sawyer worked on making a fire with two pieces of wood... it might take awhile.) The next step is to put a ditch liner, which is essentially like felt carpet, underneath it. Abe referred to it as a redneck pool. At this point I don't really care and I am glad we have something to do any day of the summer.
