Sawyer is four years old! That is a little insane to me.
Sawyer's birthday cake request was a rainbow cake. Now, I think rainbow cakes are beautiful, however I try really hard to keep food coloring out of our diet as much as possible. So I thought about it a lot, and then decided on making the cake vanilla but the frosting colored with fruit and vegetables. It turned out wonderfully!
I spent much of the day making the cake and Sawyer was able to do whatever he wanted. Plus, he was a little tired from the night before. Once Crew was out of school the party got a lot more exciting. We had grandparents over for presents and cake to also add to the party.
Sawyer received money from my parents, a pinata and legos from Abe's parents, and a tractor and new car seat from us. He was excited about every present and was such a happy boy.
Sawyer is the happiest, most loving, and silly child ever. He also has a bit of mischief up his sleeve as well. Sawyer loves to make others laugh and he is very social. I feel so blessed that Heavenly Father let Sawyer join our family. He is a wonderful brother and buddy to Crew. In fact, he often tells me that Crew is his best friend and favorite person. Sawyer will share anything, and give freely. I hope these are all characteristics that I can nurture in him and he will bring with him to adulthood.
Happy Birthday Soy-Boy!!!
